Michael A. Mattingly

Local businesses and individuals in Grundy County have been benefiting from Mr. Mattingly’s sound legal guidance for many years.  He focuses particularly on agricultural businesses, but provides assistance to all types of businesses – initially in forming and registering the most appropriate legal entity and then in providing legal advice to operating businesses.   He also assists individuals with estate planning and estate and trust administration.  He provides guidance regarding tax issues to both his corporate and individual clients.

Mr. Mattingly is actively involved in multiple bar associations, and is a long-time member and leader in the Agricultural Law Section Council of the Illinois Bar Association.  He has presented cases in both federal and state courts and has argued several matters before the Illinois Appellate Court.

Mr. Mattingly also serves many local business, civic, and philanthropic organizations, volunteering in many different capacities over the years.  He is passionate about serving his clients and serving his community.
